Some doctors call breast cancer an epidemic because the disease has become so prevelent. The Hoggards know all too well that one out of seven women will be diagnosed with this bitch of a life changer and today we find that another fine woman’s odds have been been called.
City Councilwoman Goldie Wells has breast cancer.
In a message forwarded by Greensboro Neighborhood Coordinator Donna Newton (blog, website), Goldie only asks everyone to keep her in our thoughts and prayers.
I am confident Greensboro will do that and more.

Aw, jeez, darn, shoot. I hate hearing this. I just hate it. I can keep Goldie in my thoughts and prayers, too, but darn, I just HATE hearing this!
