Shooting at Morningside

Andy Burton Coon has posted extended film footage of the 1979 “Death to the Klan” march.  Included is the gunfire and and chaotic aftermath of the event.

Although I’ve seen the footage many times, I am always struck dumb by the amount of entrenched hatred and unbridled stupidity exhibited by both parties involved in the infamous conflict.

I thought I should share this footage with the on-line community. This footage still gets me to shake my head and ask the same question of why… But in so many directions. The cameramen that shot this footage are true professionals. Speaking as a filmmaker you would’ve seen my 12 EEEE New Balances running off camera heading for safety.

    Sidenote-

I took out the extended footage due to my lack of communication skills and replaced it with the footage that I use in my documentary. You get the same nasty feeling though.
