Connection lost
I was digging in my backyard on Saturday and apparently nicked my barely buried cable which carries both my television and internet connections. I made and missed an appointment with Time Warner yesterday to get it fixed. They are coming back out during their ”pm appointment slot” which could be anytime between 12pm and 8pm today and said they will give me 30 minutes notice before they actually show.
Not bad service, but quite inconvenient and similar problems occur far too frequently.
With so much of my outside communications depending on Time-Warner already, I just can’t imagine also throwing them my land line telephone business as well. Something about “all of your eggs in one basket” comes to mind.
Anyway, I’m on a fine, free, Clearwire wi-fi connection at Coffee at the Summit and just thought I’d let everyone know I’m still around.
