Not dead, just resting

I have noticed over the years that as we move into August, the local blogosphere tends to hit the doldrums.  I feel it coming again.  A bellweather for this annual occurance can be found with Mr. Sun’s full, month-long, eclipse.

Although I’m not going to go that far, Hoggs Blog will be going dim for the next month or so.  (Already has, in case you didn’t notice).

As stated earlier, business is good and will be commanding much of my time for awhile.  In addition, my Jesse and I are taking a week-long road trip to Kentucky starting next weekend.  Just the two of us.  I haven’t seen my parents in way too long and we’re going to be up there long enough to violate the cardinal rule of visitation, which is: ‘Houseguests and fish start to stink after three days’.  Break out the Febreeze, Mom.

So, to take some of the pressure off your ‘refresh’ button, I suggest you check here only once a day or so because my posting frequency will be dropping off until further notice.  That is, unless some sizzling local story comes along that I just can’t resist harping on.
