911 call from apartment C

Ben Holder reports that a 911 call was made from Lavelle Williams apartment nearly two hours before the 7:41a call that alerted police to the horrific scene at Madison Park Apartments – but there was no one on the other end of the line.  When the police followed proceedure and went to check out source of the aborted call, they found nothing wrong except an adjacent, unsecured apartment and some torn screens.  The responding officer, “…knocked on the door and shined his flash light into the windows.”, Ben reports, but got no response, … then…

“Another partol car was on the way but was called off. At 5:48am, Unit 325 reported the call as unknown and left the scene. However, the killer inside the apartment was just getting started.

would it have been different in another neighborhood? If they were at the mayors house and a neighbors house was open and screens were cut…would they have left?
