Following Percy

I just added Percy Walker’s blog to my list of local favorites (aka, my blogroll).  Since Greensboro’s billionaire is going to run for Congress (or, perhaps, the Senate) in 2008, I decided I should keep closer tabs on the fellow and ascertain his developing take on the issues.  Here’s his thinking on Affirmative Action…

“…Like Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. I believe that we should, first and foremost, judge a person by the content of his character.  The color of one’s skin, to me, is barely in the top ten of things by which a person should be judged.  Here’s my top ten list …”

Sounds like he might have a shot.  Read them all.

    I am exceptionally concerned that he includes weight as a criteria for judging people. I have a feeling this guy is going to make me feel very, very twitchy.

    If I may be so bold as to offer a piece of business advice: the prices you are charging are far too low. I think you could boost your prices by 300% or more and still have a full blogroll. I fear you are leaving money on the table.
