An annual right of passage…

senior-page-jack.jpgYearbooks were delivered at Grimsley High School yesterday.  This event traditionally marks the beginning of the academic silly season for most schools because from here on out, the classroom activities will be much more about watching movies and socializing with friends than with any actual learning.  But, hey… we’ve got to get those 180 mandatory days in, don’t we?

A long tradition at Grimsley is for the families of graduating seniors to buy a page at the end of the yearbook to congratulate their charges and document their years as a Whirlie.  Most families choose to create a collage of pictures from diapers to prom night.  My Jinni, however, took a different tack and submitted this as our way to honor our Jackson – who, almost unbelievably, will receive his diploma June 10th…
