Apologies are called for…

….and, in the spirit of the Christmas season, surely they will come as N&R readers come to find out that NCA&T prefessor M. Resa Salami easily ‘out-Americans’ all of the self-righteous, Nifongeske, holier-than-thou, ’true-Americans‘ who slammed him publicly in the weeks after Salami was reported to have taken constitutional issue with being passively proselytized to by a Guilford County public servant with a gun.

Update: More from Sue.

Special head-in-the-sand update: I asked the author of one of my links above a question… “In light of today’s editorial by the man of your ire, has your opinion of the man – and your stance on the righteousness of reactions you cite – changed?”

Brenda B.’s partial response… “… I hate and detest drunks! Almost as much as I hate and detest the intolerant to any ideas but their own…  I didn’t bother to read the man’s blathering because I consider anything he had to say a waste of my time.”

Just another example of Brenda B’s and others unwillingness to have an open mind and look beyond their own narrowmindedness. They find one element and “yelp it up” without bothering to hear the other side or sides of a story. I would hope there are still some people out there willing to listen to all sides before coming to a conclusion.
